Yes, all of the colors can be changed using the 'edit color ' drop down on the product page. This enables you to choose from our palette of over three hundred colors.

We have gone to every effort to match the colors seen on the screen to the actual color of the rug, however, due to the differences between computer monitors and smart phone screens this cannot be guaranteed. To help combat this we offer a complimentary sample service for all colors.

Rug Couture have an extensive color palette of over one thousand colors, in the unlikely event that your color is not available we can color match from paint samples, fabric samples or the pantone coloring system. No. All our rugs carry the Kaleen label. Kaleen is a Labelling programme initiated by the Indian government. It is promoted by the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), under the ministry of textiles. CEPC apart from providing the license to the exporters of carpets also takes measures to eradicate child labour and ensure the welfare of weavers within the carpet industry. CEPC introduced the Kaleen label in 1995 as a hallmark of commitment towards the eradication of child labour. All exporters have to obtain a license from the CEPC. It is mandatory.

There is no maximum or minimum size, we do however, specialise in the larger size of rug. Every rug is bespoke and is made to your specified measurements.

There is no minimum size however, there is a surcharge for any orders under $500.

All of our rugs are made from 100% wool, so as you can expect they will clean with relative ease. With any spillage or accident involving liquids speed is of the essence. Immediately blot with plain paper kitchen towels, soaking up the liquid until dry. Any spillage involving food etc. scrape up the solids with a plastic spatula or knife and then blot up the damp residue with kitchen towels. If any residue is left, a solution of carpet shampoo and warm water with a teaspoonful of white vinegar can be used. Carefully blot with a cloth soaked and well squeezed out. Allow to dry and vacuum. Carefully comb the pile in its natural direction to remove any matting. Do not be tempted to throw on anything like salt/soap powder/white wine on red etc. This will only exacerbate the problem, as most of these so-called quick fixes are worse than useless. You can add Scotchgard stain protection to your rug for a small extra cost at the checkout before paying.

Due to the nature of our products being custom made they are non returnable unless damaged or defective. Please be aware of this before placing your order.

Yes, however, all damages must be reported upon delivery of goods. If in the event goods cannot be inspected on delivery, goods must be signed for as 'UNCHECKED'. Please contact us immediately to report any damages. Goods must be returned in the original packaging. You are entitled to either an exchange or full refund but if you have not signed for the goods as 'UNCHECKED' no refund will be given.
