What are your rugs made from ? 

All our rugs are made from beautiful New Zealand Wool.  We currently make all rug in 3 distinctive qualities each priced individually; Tufted, Hand Tufted and Nepalese Hand Knotted.

Quality 1 - Tufted from 100% Blended New Zealand Wool - Pile weight 2500 gr/m2

Quality 2 - Handtufted from 100% Blended New Zealand Wool - With hand carving and detailing - Pile weight 2750 gr/m2

Quality 3 - Handknotted '60 knots' in a Nepalese style from 100% Pure New Zealand Wool - With hand carving and detailing - Pile weight 4000 gr/m2
 

 

How do I create rug with your online app ? 

Colouring you own rug and creating a unique rug is easy. Go to our new online app by Clicking here then

1. Select a style.

2. Choose a design.

3. Select  colours and click the areas of your rug you wish to paint that colour.

4. Provide your measurements in centimetres, choose a quality and then buy online.

You can also save any of your designs to your wishlist and view all your creations in 2D and 3D before buying. 
 

Can you make any rug?  

Yes! well almost - Please email us with your designs, photographs, logo's or ideas along with your required sizes and we will provide a free quotation. 
 

How can i pay ?

Payment can be made in a number of different ways of ways:

1. Credit/debit card online - This is the easiest and most secure way to pay.

2. Cheque - Cheques may be sent and made payable to:

Do you sell rugs world wide ?

Yes! We sell all over the world and have been supplying rugs for over 8 years to happy customers everywhere!
 

What are the delivery costs ?

We offer FREE INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY on all orders costing £100/$150 or over.
 

How long does an order take to be delivered ?

We give a delivery date for orders of :   

Quality 1) Tufted of around 6 weeks  

Quality 2) Hand Tufted of around 6 weeks  

Quality 3) Hand Knotted of around 8-10 weeks  

Due to the nature of our products, the above time scales are approximate depending on complexity of design some rugs take less time other slightly more. Please be aware of this before ordering.
 

Are your rugs easy to clean?

All of our rugs are made from pure wool and they will clean with relative ease.
With any spillage or accident involving liquids speed is of the essence. Immediately blot with plain paper kitchen towels, soaking up the liquid until dry. Any spillage involving food etc. scrape up the solids with a plastic spatula or knife and then blot up the damp residue with kitchen towels. If any residue is left, a solution of carpet shampoo and warm water with a teaspoonful of white vinegar can be used.
Carefully blot with a cloth soaked and well squeezed out. Allow to dry and vacuum.
Carefully comb the pile in its natural direction to remove any matting.
Do not be tempted to throw on anything like salt/soap powder/white wine on red etc.
This will only exacerbate the problem, as most of these so-called quick fixes are worse than useless.
Please do not dry clean any of our rugs.

Can i return my rug if i dont like it ?

As all of our rugs are custom made to the your specified colours and size all bespoke rugs are non returnable.
Please be aware of this before placing your order.
We do offer a comprehensive sample service, which allows the customer to physically view the quality and colours of there specified rug.

All damages or order errors must be reported on delivery of goods. If in the event goods cannot be checked upon delivery sign for goods as "UNCHECKED".

In the unlikely event that this occurs please contact Rugcouture immediately. You are entitled to either an exchange or full refund. Refunds will be made within 5 working days.

Faulty goods or errors in delivery must be packaged as received and we will arrange collection.
