Rug Couture were commissioned by renown Belgian artist Wouter Deruytter to create two large hand tufted tapestries to be displayed at Castle Rumbeke in Roeselare as part of his beautiful Life is Theatre exhibition.
This exciting project involved the careful rendering of two photographs of Wouter Deruytter's Arabian Knights in pure wool. The images below show several stages of the tapestries journey.
