We want our clients to feel good in every way about their purchase. Rug Couture are proud GoodWeave licensees. GoodWeave envisions a day when no child is made to work instead of going to school, and when freedom, access to education, and the right to childhood are guaranteed.

Rug Couture is licensed under the GoodWeave certification program and sign a legally binding contract to adhere to GoodWeave's no-child-labor standard; allow unannounced random inspections by local inspectors; and pay a licensing fee that helps support GoodWeave's monitoring, inspections and education programs.

For more than two decades, GoodWeave has implemented and refined a set of market-driven programs to stop child labor. To date they have freed 3,936 children from exploitation, enrolled 23,996 children in schools and cover 59,152 workers under the GoodWeave System.

Their holistic approach aims to heal and educate those children who have been exploited, while changing the underlying root causes. Their work has led to an overall reduction in the incidence of child labor in GoodWeave-inspected supply chains, as well as to freedom and education for children. They are also setting a roadmap with suppliers to improve working conditions for all workers. They have accomplished these results in partnership with 350 companies worldwide of which Rug Couture is one..
